Having Fun Together

One of the most important things we do in BWMT-DC is simply enjoy each other's company! Upcoming events are displayed on our home page.

Monthly Potlucks

One Saturday evening every month -- usually the last Saturday -- we meet in a different member's home for eating, drinking and socializing. Usual times are 7:00 to roughly 10:00 p.m. The potlucks tend to be our best attended regular events, with anywhere from 40 to 75 people taking part. They're a fantastic way to meet new people and make new friends.

Other Social Events and Informal Activities

Our members also have taken the initiative to put together additional fun things for us to do together. Here are some recent activities:

• pool parties in conjunction with our potlucks,
• a visit to the Great Blacks in Wax Museum in Baltimore,
• tours of a local art galleries
• movie nights
